Omg this is one of the best decision I ever made in my life. I work all year around on a fishing boat and its so hard for me to make it to a class to take my qmed. And so thankful I found this site not only the people are helpful but they respond fast to my questions and helped me with what I needed to be helped with. The video and study guide hold so much information not even funny and I love the podcasts too much information and easy to understand and straight to the point love definitely going to take more classes here and I highly recommend them too anyone looking to get there qmed

Beacon Maritime Training offers the best QMED course out there. The instructor is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility — you can work on your classes while off watch at work, from the comfort of your home and you don't have to take off from work to sit in a 15 day class at a sea school. This means you don’t have to sacrifice valuable time with your family or work time to advance your career. The class was recommended to me by a coworker. I will be spreading the work and recommended this class to anyone that trying to advance in there career.

Fantastic program, this course provides exactly what is needed to pass a QMED and pick up information that is not easy to attain. I'm recovering from a torn achilles tendon and this was the best solution for me to do since going to a school wasn't in the cards with the time frame i was working with. For the price you cant beat it at all, unless you absolutely can't learn anywhere but a class room, which with this course i guarantee you could, it is no doubt a great option. Everything involving the course is laid out simply and they provide more then enough tools and information to receive a high passing grade. I learned a lot in the few weeks taking this course, even though I've been at sea for over 4 years this course still taught me there is much more to learn.

This course really exceeded my expectations in both quality and value. It offered the right mix of flexibility, affordability, and solid instruction. I know self-study isn’t for me, so taking a structured course was the obvious choice. What really made Beacon stand out was the fact that it’s fully online. Most other Oiler courses are in person and require hotel stays for a few weeks — which adds a lot of extra cost. Choosing Beacon saved me money and let me work through the material on my own schedule. John was great — quick to respond to any questions I had, whether it was about the course itself or specific material. Because of the quality of the course, the support I received, and the cost savings, I’ll definitely be taking future courses through Beacon Maritime.
