Beacon Maritime Training, LLC (“Beacon,” “we,” “us”) runs beaconmaritimetraining.com from PO Box 1462, Portland, ME 04104. This policy explains what we collect when you create an account, buy a virtual course, or start a subscription, and how we use it. Accounts

Buying a course or subscription requires an account. We collect the name, email address, and password details needed to sign you in, plus the billing name, address, and phone number you enter at checkout. If checkout creates the account for you, we email the login to the address you provided. You can review and update your account details from My Account. To close an account, email info@beaconmaritimetraining.com. We keep order and tax records for as long as we need them to run the business and meet recordkeeping duties, even after an account is closed.

Virtual course purchases

Our courses are delivered online. We record which course you bought, when access was granted, and progress stored by the training site so we can open the course, restore access, and answer support questions. We do not store your full card number. Card and Klarna payments are handled by the payment company you choose at checkout. That company receives the payment details needed to take or decline the payment and to handle a later refund or dispute.

Subscriptions

A subscription records the plan you chose, the billing interval, the renewal date, and the payment method stored for later renewals. We use that information to charge renewals, pause access if a renewal is not paid, and show the subscription in your account. You can cancel from your account. Cancellation stops future renewals. It does not by itself erase past orders.

Refunds and support

Refund requests are handled under our refund policy at beaconmaritimetraining.com/refund-policy/. If you write to us about a charge, access problem, or this policy, include the email on the account so we can find the order. We do not sell student lists.
